The A8 Mini drone camera gimbal is a compact yet powerful 4K AI mini zoom gimbal camera, engineered for intelligent imaging and robust stabilization. At its core, the camera features an AI Intelligent Recognition & Tracking system, driven by a Neural Processing Unit (NPU) and a proprietary AI algorithm that autonomously identifies moving targets such as vehicles, boats, and pedestrians. This system works seamlessly with the gimbal and drone flight controls to achieve recognition, positioning, and continuous tracking, while the auto-zoom function keeps the target centered.

The imaging system of the A8 drone camera gimbal boasts a 1/1.7-inch Sony CMOS sensor with exceptional light-gathering capability, supporting 4K ultra HD recording, 6x digital zoom, and starlight-level night vision with HDR for bright, clear imagery in low-light or backlit conditions. When mounted upside down, the camera automatically enters Inverted Mode, making it adaptable for unmanned ground vehicles, robots, and robotic dogs.

The A8 drone camera gimbal also offers three video output interfaces-Ethernet, HDMI, and CVBS (AV)-with ultra-low latency: approximately 60ms via CVBS to an analog transmitter and 65ms via HDMI. The gimbal supports three operation modes: FPV Mode for true first-person view with synchronous roll movement; Follow Mode, where the gimbal rotates to match the aircraft's heading for multi-rotor use; and Lock Mode, where the gimbal does not follow horizontal rotation. All modes benefit from an industrial-grade 3-axis stabilization control algorithm and high-precision FOC motor control, significantly reducing image jitter during rapid or drastic movements to deliver consistently stable, high-definition footage.
