Small Drones (Electric): These drones are usually designed to be lightweight and portable, making electricity their primary power source. Advances in battery technology have enabled small drones to have sufficient endurance to complete various tasks, such as aerial photography and agricultural plant protection. Electricity offers advantages such as being environmentally friendly, quiet, and easy to maintain and recharge.

 

Medium-Sized Drones (Possibly Hybrid): Medium-sized drones are more complex in design and function, sometimes requiring greater power and longer endurance to meet specific mission requirements. Therefore, some medium-sized drones may adopt a hybrid power system, combining the advantages of electricity and fuel to improve flight efficiency and endurance.

 

Large Drones (Fuel-Powered): Large drones, especially those used for military or long-distance transport, typically use fuel as their power source. Fuel offers higher energy density and longer endurance, which is crucial for long-distance flights or heavy-duty missions. Furthermore, fuel engines offer greater stability and reliability in harsh environments. In summary, the energy used by drones depends on their model and size. With continuous technological advancements, more types of energy may be applied to drones in the future to meet the needs of different missions.
