Firefighting drones are unmanned aircraft controlled by radio remote control or autonomous programs, primarily used in fire rescue scenarios such as forest fire monitoring and high-rise building firefighting. Types include unmanned helicopters, fixed-wing aircraft, and multi-rotor aircraft. They can perform tasks such as fire scene reconnaissance, 3D modeling, material delivery, and remote detection of hazardous gas concentrations, and are characterized by high mobility, speed, and simple maintenance.

As the world's first 2-ton-class firefighting drone to receive airworthiness certification, the eVTOL features a fuselage made of new carbon fiber materials and is equipped with a safe and fire-resistant power system. This flight platform can rapidly climb to 100 meters in one minute, with a lift exceeding 2 meters per second. The system can carry water, Class B foam, and Class A foam extinguishing agents, and can carry four 100-kilogram fire extinguishing bombs, each with a maximum coverage area of 700 square meters, making it particularly suitable for extinguishing fires involving hazardous chemicals; its continuous spraying flow rate is at least 20 liters per second, with an effective spraying distance exceeding 40 meters. However, based on the actual situation of the 2025 Tai Po fire in Hong Kong, the diameter of the fire hoses carried by existing drones is much smaller than that of fire trucks, and their water supply systems cannot meet the firefighting needs of high-rise building fires. The digital gimbal, combined with GPS positioning, can accurately locate fire points; it can fly to the required location, is easy to operate, and allows for one-click return; it is equipped with three independent flight control systems, supporting autonomous control decisions, intelligent firefighting tactics, and multi-drone collaborative operations; the camera provides clear images and real-time monitoring of fire risk data; it can perform real-time monitoring and execute nighttime flight missions; it uses wireless digital transmission, eliminating the need for field wiring; this drone can be quickly transferred and can conduct fire reconnaissance and rapid firefighting in urban high-rise buildings and forest areas; it should be noted that this technology is still in the exploratory stage, and its extinguishing agent carrying capacity and spray coverage efficiency still have limitations in high-rise building fires. As the world's first ducted fan high-altitude tethered firefighting drone system, its tethered eight-ducted fan flight platform is integrated with the firefighting chassis, enabling rapid response and deployment without complex deployment, breaking through the height limitations and response speed bottlenecks of traditional firefighting equipment.
